Small Business
Dual Impact Program
One Investment. Two Outcomes.
The Small Business Dual Impact Program creates a paid 90-day work experience for an Ideal Candidate while simultaneously helping a small business increase its capacity.
​
Through corporate and philanthropic sponsorship, The Ideal Candidate NFP funds a participating candidate's 90-day stipend, allowing an approved small business to add trained talent to its team without carrying the initial wage expense.
​
During those 90 days, the candidate gains meaningful professional experience, applies their training in a real workplace, builds their résumé, and receives ongoing support from The Ideal Candidate.
​
At the same time, the small business receives additional capacity to tackle projects, serve customers, improve operations, and pursue growth.
​
The goal? At the end of 90 days, the participating business has had the opportunity to train and evaluate the candidate—and, when there is a strong mutual fit and the business has the capacity, potentially transition that individual into permanent employment.
